Davido, Chris Brown Joint Album Set for 2027

Nigerian singer Davido has confirmed that a joint album with American R&B artist Chris Brown is set for release in 2027. The announcement came during a recent appearance on the Swift Conversations podcast.

Speaking in the interview, Davido said his current focus is on creating music that reflects a stronger African sound, working closely with producers from his home country. However, he noted that international collaborations remain an important part of his artistry.

The two artists have a long-standing working relationship, having first collaborated on the 2019 hit Blow My Mind. They have since released several tracks together, including Shopping Spree, Sensational and Hmm, building anticipation among fans for a full joint project.

Davido first hinted at the album in 2023, and its confirmation is likely to heighten expectations ahead of its release. The project is expected to blend Afrobeats and R&B influences, reflecting both artists’ global appeal.
