Ghanaian rap heavyweight Sarkodie is set to make his long-awaited Australian debut this October, with two headline performances scheduled across Melbourne and Sydney. The two-city run marks the first time the award-winning rapper will perform for fans in Australia, adding another international chapter to his celebrated career.

Sarkodie will kick off the run on October 9 at Prince Bandroom in Melbourne, before travelling to Sydney for a second performance at Metro Theatre on October 11. Across both dates, fans can expect a live showcase of the rapper’s acclaimed catalogue and the commanding stage presence that has made him one of Africa’s most influential hip-hop artists.

Sharing the announcement, Sarkodie expressed his excitement about finally connecting with his Australian audience. “My first time in Australia and I'm excited to see the fans out there,” he said, encouraging supporters to get their tickets ahead of the two shows.

The Australian concerts are being brought to audiences by Bigg Tyme Entertainment, which is behind Sarkodie’s first-ever performances in Melbourne and Sydney. The shows will give Australian fans their first opportunity to experience the Ghanaian rap star live on home soil.
